(drunken) thursday night.

Isn't it obvious from the first 3 photos how drunk I am? It wasn't some camera effect or anything. When my friends and I go out, I always bring my camera along. We capture all the fun moments! If there's one thing I love about Wisconsin, it's all about drunken thursday nights with my friends!

the view outside my (work) window.

2: the isolated lot
3: dancing lights

Being at work, and especially for one like me who works the graveyard shift, it's always boring. The view outside my work window reminds me how quiet our city is. I think they call it a city because of the population but considering nothing ever happens here, I'll just have to call it a big town.

randomness.

A random shot of my Mom & I taken by my sister Camille. Personally, I don't like my picture getting taken randomly. I always look stupid on them.

My other home away from home.

Credits to Portland Ground: A Photographic Landscape of Urban Oregon

Exactly two years ago today, I embarked on a journey to self-discovery. To a new place, a new environment, and of all places somewhere I've never heard of. Portland, Oregon. I was only there for 6 months, because I couldn't handle living on my own. I wasn't ready. So, I packed my bags and caught the next flight back to Milwaukee. But Portland gave me something I didn't have before. It was my other home away from home. And now, I miss it. Maybe when I'm ready to finally be on my own, I will consider it as one of the places I'd like to live in besides New York City. Because as much as I consider Wisconsin my home, I don't want to live here forever.
